Now, let's assume that I need to know when the user varieties a letter, if this is the first character in the box. I now use one thing like:

I do know that I could use keyup as a substitute, however I feel I would like to stay with keypress because I have to do some assessments for the pressed bodily keys. (this resolution truly presentations the difference between keyup and keypress in this case)
